The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I was one of the most iconic fighter aircraft of World War II and played a key role in the Battle of Britain in 1940. Developed in the late 1930s, the sleek, single-engine, elliptical-winged fighter was renowned for its agility and speed. The Spitfire became a symbol of the RAF's resistance against the German Luftwaffe and the "Tally ho!" - the expression used by RAF pilots when they spotted the enemy - is inherently linked to this period.
Eduard Spitfire Story: Tally Ho! DUAL COMBO in 1/48 scale allows you to build two complete Spitfire Mk.I kits in different versions. The limited edition includes detailed Eduard plastic parts, colour etched accessories, pre-cut masks and decals for eight Battle of Britain-era camouflage schemes. The selection includes machines from famous RAF pilots and Fighter Command units. The kit is aimed at the more experienced modeller who will appreciate the historical accuracy, variability and superior workmanship.
