Tamiya 74102 HG uses a reverse-action mechanism: the jaws stay closed at rest and open when the handles are squeezed. Small parts can therefore be held without maintaining constant finger pressure. The angled tip provides access to confined areas.

The body is stainless steel with vulcanized fibre grips. Designed for precise handling and holding of components, this is a self-closing tool rather than an ordinary angled tweezer.
