1/32 Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Frank) part 4 - Imperial Japanese Army Air Force 104th Sentai
ASK 1/32 Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Frank) part 4 – 104th Sentai is a decal set for three Ki-84s of the Imperial Japanese Army's 104th Sentai from Manchuria and Japan (August 1945).
This 1/32 ASK sheet provides a Ki-84 Kō from Shinkyo in Manchuria and two Ki-84 Otsu from Ōta in Japan, all from August 1945. All carry the 104th Sentai emblem on the rudder; two aircraft wear dark paint with chipping, while the third Otsu is light-coloured.
The Ki-84 Hayate served with the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force from 1944, and the 104th Sentai flew it until the end of the war. The sheet thus offers aircraft with differently worn paintwork. The 1/32 Ki-84 plastic kit is sold separately.
If necessary, the decal carrier varnish can be removed by washing it off with Zippo lighter fluid.
