Academy 13230 - Jagdpanzer 38(t) HETZER "LATE VERSION" (1:35)
Academy 13230 Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer “Late Version” is a 1/35 plastic kit of the German tank destroyer, with a photo-etched part, two figures and masking tape.
The Jagdpanzer 38(t), known as the Hetzer, was a light German tank destroyer with a low, sloped hull and a 7.5 cm gun. From 1944 it was built by BMM in Prague and Škoda in Plzeň and, thanks to its simplicity and small silhouette, was produced in large numbers. During the war it went through many production changes that distinguish early and late vehicles.
The Academy 13230 kit in 1/35 scale is a new tooling of the late production version. Besides the plastic parts it includes a photo-etched mesh, two crew figures and masking tape with shapes for the typical spotted camouflage.
The compact Hetzer is a rewarding subject for a display cabinet as well as for dioramas set in the last months of the war.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War II.
Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
