The ¼-tonne utility vehicle (in the category of light military off-road vehicles) was one of the key elements of Allied logistics and mobility during the Second World War. Small, manoeuvrable and reliable, vehicles of this class were used to transport personnel, carry out liaison and reconnaissance missions, deliver supplies and tow light trailers. It was precisely the combination of the vehicle with a ¼-tonne utility trailer that significantly increased its transport capacity without the vehicle losing its off-road manoeuvrability. The Takom 1:16 scale kit is a glue-together model which, thanks to its large scale, allows for detailed rendering of the individual parts of both the vehicle and the trailer.
