1/35 B-Type London Omnibus (1919) - Miniart

The B-Type was one of the world's first mass-produced motor buses and became a symbol of London's early 20th century public transport. It entered service before the First World War, but remained in service in large numbers after the end of the war in 1918. The 1919 version depicted in this kit served a purely civilian purpose - the cars were refurbished from wartime service and re-entered city service. Despite its simple design, the B-Type was reliable and popular with passengers and drivers alike. It was characterised by its open top deck, rigid bodywork and striking rear spiral staircase.
