Trumpeter 1/35 Sturer Emil represents the German 12.8 cm Selbstfahrlafette L/61 of World War II. Only two examples were built on the VK 30.01(H) chassis and deployed on the Eastern Front in 1942. The large gun in an open superstructure makes it an unusual subject among German self-propelled weapons.
Release 00350 contains 245 parts and flexible one-piece tracks. The open fighting compartment and gun allow attention to components visible from above. At approximately 277 mm long, the vehicle provides a distinctive subject for a collection of German self-propelled weapons in 1/35. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War II.
