1/35 German 7.5cm Anti-Tank Gun PaK 40. Early Prod - Miniart
This 1/35th scale model of the 7.5cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun is an early version of one of the most common German anti-tank weapons of WWII. The kit offers a detailed rendering of the receiver, gun and ammunition and includes the gun's operator in combat positions. The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
The PaK 40 (Panzerabwehrkanone 40) was the standard anti-tank gun of the German Army from 1942 until the end of the war. It quickly replaced the weaker PaK 36 and 38 and became the primary means of combat against medium and heavy Allied tanks. The early version, depicted in this model, featured a simpler design and wooden spoked wheels as was commonly deployed, especially on the Eastern Front.
The model kit includes an elaborate version of the PaK 40 gun, including detailed mechanical details, and includes ammunition, empty cartridges and transport cases. The figures of the three-man crew in combat positions complete the realistic scene and allow for a believable diorama of the Eastern or North African front. The high level of detail makes the model suitable for stand-alone presentation or as part of a larger scenic composition.
The package does not include the paints or glues needed for assembly.
