Trumpeter 1/35 IS-7, also designated JS-7, represents a post-war Soviet heavy tank that never entered series production. Its substantial turret and 130 mm gun distinguish it from operational IS-series tanks, making it a subject for a collection tracing experimental armour development.
The tracks combine longer sections with individual links. Release 05586 includes over 390 parts on 12 sprues, plus separate hull and turret components. The lower hull and turret use multi-part slide moulds. A photo-etched fret and brass wire supplement the plastic parts. The finished model is approximately 32 cm long, a useful measurement when planning display space. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
