Trumpeter 1/35 Type 59 is a plastic kit of the Chinese towed 130 mm field gun. This weapon derives from the Soviet M-46; Type 59 here does not refer to the tank of the same name. The long barrel, protective shield and split-trail carriage define the heavy field gun’s appearance. The model’s approximate length of 336 mm is useful when planning an artillery position in a diorama.
