The G7117 was part of a family of light trucks produced by Chevrolet for the US Army during World War II. The repair truck version was specially adapted as a mobile workshop, equipped with tools and technical equipment for repairing vehicles and equipment in the field. Such vehicles played a key role in ensuring the mobility of American and Allied troops at the front and in the rear.
This 1/35th scale model provides a highly detailed representation of this service truckincluding the elaborate interior of the cab and body, which includes equipment appropriate for a field workshop. There are also realistic details of the chassis, engine compartment and the possibility of open doors and hatches. Modelers will appreciate the wealth of accessories and the opportunity to assemble the vehicle in a variety of situations, from repairing backgrounds to moving in a convoy.
A great addition to dioramas featuring US equipment or as a stand-alone model in the military logistics and support unit field.
Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
