1/35 Russian Main Battle Tank T-72B3
Meng 1/35 Russian Main Battle Tank T-72B3 is a 1/35th scale plastic model construction kit of the modern Russian main battle tank. This version is an upgrade of the proven T-72, introduced into service in 2010, and represents the standard tank of the Russian Army.
The T-72B3 is a modernized version of the legendary Soviet T-72 tank, which was first introduced in the 1970s. The modernization was approved in 2010 to extend the life of the extensive stock of these machines in the Russian Army's arsenal. The new variant received an improved 840 hp V-84-1 engine, a modern fire control system, digital displays and a thermal imaging sight, which significantly improved the tank's combat capabilities.
The T-72B3 tank is equipped with a 125mm 2A46M gun, which can also fire cruise missiles, and improved protection in the form of Kontakt-5 reactive armour. Thanks to these upgrades, it has become the main battle tank of the Russian Army and has participated in combat operations in Ukraine and other conflicts, where it has proven its durability but also the limitations of the older design.
