Trumpeter 1/35 T-80UM-1 Bars depicts the T-80 variant with Arena active protection and a 125 mm gun. The tall radar block and the arrangement of protective modules define its turret outline. The specific UM-1 Bars configuration is therefore important when selecting a kit listed simply as T-80UM.
Release 09526 has over 970 parts on 31 sprues. Tracks comprise 192 individual links; two photo-etched frets, copper cable and clear optical parts supplement the plastic components. Green and multicolour painting schemes are provided. The turret’s Arena components and individual-link running gear account for much of the assembly work. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: USSR / Russia. Period: Modern era.
