1/35 T-34-85 CZECHOSLOVAK PROD. LATE TYPE
The 1/35th scale model of the T-34-85 Czechoslovak Production Late Type represents the post-war Czechoslovak version of the famous Soviet medium tank. The kit depicts the late production type with characteristic modifications from Czechoslovak production. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
After the end of World War II, arms production was resumed in Czechoslovakia and one of the first types to enter production was the Soviet T-34-85 medium tank. Production was carried out at the ČKD Sokolovo plant (later ZŤS Martin) and the tanks served both in the Czechoslovak army and were exported abroad. The late production series was characterized by design differences from the wartime machines - e.g.For example, different type of headlights, minor modifications in the turret castings or simplified hull mounts.
The model captures these specific features of Czechoslovak production, including the exact silhouette of the fuselage and turret, detailed surfaces, armament and equipment. Its historical accuracy makes it ideal for depicting post-war training, parades or export machines to Eastern Bloc countries. It thus offers an unconventional view of an iconic machine in its home version.
