The T-54-3 Mod. 1951 was one of the final forms of the early generation of Soviet T-54 medium tanks, which was created after World War II as a replacement for the T-34. The 1951 version featured a newly shaped turret with smoother transitions, improved ballistic protection and improved armament. These tanks became a symbol of Soviet tank design and were exported to many countries around the world.
