Trumpeter 1/35 T-62 BDD Mod.1984 represents the 1984 upgrade of the 1962-pattern T-62 with BDD armour. This is passive add-on armour rather than ERA blocks, an important distinction when selecting a specific vehicle for a Soviet armour collection.
Kit 01553 has over 560 parts, 23 sprues, a separate turret and lower hull. It includes a metal gun barrel, copper wire for the cable, two photo-etched frets and three crew figures. The supplied 217 individual track links make track assembly a distinct stage of the running-gear work. The completed model measures 286 mm in length and 95 mm in width; the figures provide a crew without needing a separate figure set. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: USSR / Russia. Period: Post-war / Cold War.
