1/48 Fw 190D one-sided express fit mask for MINIART
ASK masks in the one-sided Express Fit version for the MiniArt Fw 190D-9 in 1/48 scale. The pre-cut, numbered masks cover the windscreen and the edges of the canopy glazing from the outside, plus wheel masks.
The ASK masks are an in-house design for the MiniArt Fw 190D-9 kit in 1/48 scale, shaped to its glazing and wheels. The ASK 200-M48333 sheet from the SCALE MASK range contains windscreen masks (two triangular side panels and the front panel), narrow shaped masks that follow the glass edges along the canopy frames, and two sets of ring masks – larger ones for the main wheels and a smaller pair numbered 12. All masks are numbered. The one-sided version is intended for the outer face of the glazing.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9, nicknamed “Dora”, replaced the BMW 801 radial with a Jumo 213 inline engine and annular radiator, which gave it its lengthened nose. It reached Luftwaffe units from autumn 1944. The masks are shaped for the 1/48 MiniArt kit.
