The Hauler HLX48396 set contains brass photo-etched grilles for the engine deck of the Panther Ausf. D and is intended for the Tamiya kit in 1/48 scale. The fine framed mesh faithfully reproduces the protective screens over the cooling intakes and outlets, which plastic can only suggest.

The Panther Ausf. D was the first production version of the German Panther medium tank and first saw action in the summer of 1943 at Kursk. The set can be combined with the Hauler HLX48395 photo-etched detail set for the same kit. The plastic kit itself is not included.
