The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter to enter combat service; the Luftwaffe committed it to action in 1944.

The figure from the Aero Line range is cast in resin. The manufacturer's artwork shows a standing pilot in a leather jacket and flying helmet, with one foot resting on a crate.

The 1/48 figure gives a Me 262 model a sense of scale and also works as a standalone element of a field airfield scene. The manufacturer offers Bf 109 and Fw 190 pilots in the same range. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
