Recommended Procedure
- Before removing the support structures, compare the wheels with the kit’s landing gear and verify that you have the correct variant based on the selected reference.
- Remove the 3D-printed support structures one by one using fine-tip pliers or a scalpel; smooth out the contact points by lightly sanding them.
- Test-fit the parts on the landing gear axles without glue. Make any necessary adjustments to the holes in small increments to ensure the wheel remains properly seated.
- Degrease the surface, apply a thin coat of primer, and paint the tire and rim separately. Accent the tread pattern with a light wash and dry pigment to match the model’s environment.
- Attach the wheels with a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive; standard polystyrene glue will not bond 3D-printed material.
Note: The plastic kit is not included in the package.
Use model paints and primers and adhesives suitable for 3D-printed parts to finish the model.
