The production He 162A-2 carried a pair of MG 151/20 cannon in the fuselage. CMK set 129-7444 consists of castings of the left and right gun bays, moulded together with the cannon breeches and bay covers, and was designed in 3D.

The Special Hobby kit has the gun bay covers moulded separately, so the set fits without cutting openings in the fuselage. The Heinkel He 162 Volksjäger was a lightweight jet fighter from the end of the Second World War. The 1/72 kit is not included.
