Adeptus Mechanicus: Kastelan Robots

Kastelan Robots are massive combat machines of ancient design, which are both the pride and a fearsome weapon of the Adeptus Mechanicus faction. These robust robots date back to ancient times, and their technology is so complex that only the initiated Tech-Priests fully understand it. Kastelan Robots are designed as versatile combat platforms capable of destroying enemies both from a distance and in crushing close-quarters combat, and their immense strength makes them feared opponents on the battlefield.

An indispensable part of the set is the Cybernetica Datasmith – a specialised Adeptus Mechanicus techno-priest whose task is to awaken, control and command these ancient machines. Without him, the Kastelan Robots would be unable to respond effectively to the changing situation on the battlefield. The Datasmith thus forms the crucial link between human command and the unstoppable might of the machines, making this set a cohesive and thematically interconnected whole.

The set includes a full range of accessories for assembly – two 60 mm diameter Citadel round bases for both Kastelan Robots and one 32 mm diameter Citadel round base for the Cybernetica Datasmith miniature. The models are designed to the standard Warhammer 40,000 scale and offer a wealth of opportunities for detailed painting, including highlighting mechanical parts, panels, armaments and Adeptus Mechanicus symbolism.

The set is suitable both for use in Adeptus Mechanicus armies and as a standalone painting project or display piece for fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The pack does not contain the paints or glue required for assembly.
