AK Acrylics 3GEN AFV Series RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11316 RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN AFV Series (18 ml). From 1940 until spring 1943 this dark grey was the sole camouflage colour of German vehicles.
RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau is one of the German shades in AK Interactive's third-generation 3GEN AFV Series acrylics. The manufacturer supplies it in an 18 ml bottle for brush and airbrush.
According to AK, Dunkelgrau formed the standard camouflage together with RAL 7017 Dunkelbraun in 1937–1940 and was used as a single colour from 1940 until spring 1943. Most vehicles initially shipped to North Africa were also finished in Dunkelgrau. The colour therefore appears in the AK11645 German Standard Colors 37-43, AK11656 1937-44 Panzer Colors and AK11652 Afrika Korps Colors 1941-43 sets.
