AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Insignia White FS 17875 (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11868 Insignia White FS 17875 is an acrylic for aircraft modellers, supplied in 18 ml. FS 17875 white accompanies US Navy and USMC aircraft from the 1943 tri-colour camouflage through to post-war schemes.
Insignia White FS 17875 belongs to the Aircraft Series, the aviation range of AK Interactive's third-generation (3GEN) acrylics. The paint comes in an 18 ml dropper bottle and is designed by the manufacturer for both brush and airbrush.
According to AK Interactive, Insignia White formed part of the US Navy carrier aircraft tri-colour scheme with Sea Blue and Intermediate Blue from January 1943, and from the mid-1950s it made up the two-colour naval camouflage together with Light Gull Grey. The manufacturer therefore includes it in the AK11729, AK11730, AK11731 (anti-submarine schemes) and AK11745 sets; in the AK11754 set it serves as the underside white of Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm aircraft from the late 1950s.
