AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series RAF Dark Green (17 ml)
The AK Interactive AK11840 RAF Dark Green acrylic comes from the 3GEN Aircraft Series (18 ml). Dark Green features in RAF camouflage schemes from the Second World War to the Tornado.
AK Interactive's third-generation acrylics with the AIR label cover colours for aircraft of all eras. The manufacturer highlights very high pigmentation, coverage and resistance, and designs them for brush and airbrush; RAF Dark Green comes in an 18 ml bottle.
AK Interactive offers the paint in six sets. During the war it formed the upper surfaces in the Temperate Land Scheme with Dark Earth and, from August 1941, in the Day Fighter Scheme with Ocean Grey. From 1953 RAF day fighters carried Dark Sea Grey and Dark Green upper surfaces; from 1965 the tactical scheme of the Harrier, Hunter, Phantom FGR.2 and Jaguar used it, and from the late 1970s so did the wraparound camouflage of the Tornado GR.1.
