AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Rlm 65 (1941) (17 ml)
The AK Interactive AK11818 RLM 65 (1941) acrylic from the 3GEN Aircraft Series matches the later variant of light blue RLM 65. The manufacturer links it with Luftwaffe fighters, bombers and seaplanes of the Second World War.
The shade is part of the 3GEN Aircraft Series, in which AK Interactive gathers specific aircraft colours of different air forces and periods. According to the manufacturer, these third-generation acrylics offer high pigmentation and coverage and suit both brush and airbrush.
AK Interactive includes the paint in the eight-colour AK11717 WWII Luftwaffe Mid-War Colors set, where it belongs to the RLM 02/71/65 schemes of day and heavy fighters until around mid-1941 and the RLM 70/71/65 scheme of bombers, ground-attack and reconnaissance aircraft. It also appears in the AK11721 WWII Luftwaffe Seaplane Colors set for types such as the Ar 196, Do 24 and He 115.
