The AK Interactive AK11812 RLM 02 RLM-Grau (1941) acrylic comes from the 3GEN Aircraft Series (18 ml). The RLM 02 variant based on the November 1941 colour chart is intended for cockpits, interiors and camouflage of mid-war Luftwaffe aircraft.
RLM 02 RLM-Grau (1941) belongs to the Aircraft Series, the aviation range of AK Interactive's third-generation (3GEN) acrylics. The paint comes in an 18 ml dropper bottle and is designed by the manufacturer for both brush and airbrush.
According to AK Interactive, the shade is based on samples from the Farbtontafeln issued with the L.Dv. 521/1 in November 1941. The manufacturer offers the paint in the AK11722 WWII Luftwaffe Cockpit & Interior Colors set and in the AK11717 WWII Luftwaffe Mid-War Colors set, which covers schemes such as the RLM 02/71/65 combination of day and heavy fighters or RLM 74/75/76, sometimes with additional RLM 02 mottling.
