AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Rlm 80 (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11834 RLM 80 is an acrylic paint in an olive green shade for Luftwaffe tropical camouflage. According to the manufacturer, it served as an additional upper-surface colour on desert aircraft.
The paint comes from the Aircraft Series, the aviation branch of AK Interactive's 3GEN acrylics. The manufacturer highlights high pigmentation, coverage and resistance, plus a coloured cap that makes the shade quick to recognise.
According to AK Interactive, the AK11719 WWII Luftwaffe Tropical Colors set contains the six camouflage colours most commonly used on Luftwaffe aircraft in the Mediterranean theatre. The manufacturer notes that RLM 80 was introduced in 1941 together with the desert base colours RLM 78 and 79 and was applied as additional camouflage at depot or unit level; the set contains both versions of RLM 78 and 79 as well as RLM 83.
