AK Enamel effects WASH FOR INTERIORS

AK Interactive AK093 Interior Wash (35 ml) is a ready-to-use enamel wash with good flow that highlights seams, rivets, welds, panels, and other recessed details. This specific shade is designed for light-colored vehicle interiors and winter camouflage. It is formulated for light interior colors, such as RAL 9001 cream or white, where it highlights details and accumulated dirt without creating an unnaturally harsh contrast.

Wash is not a covering paint. Its thin consistency allows it to flow into recesses, where it creates shadows and visually separates individual structural elements. The intensity can be controlled by the amount of product applied and by subsequent cleaning of the surface.

Recommended Procedure

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly to ensure the pigment is evenly mixed.
2. Apply to a completely dry, painted or varnished surface. A smooth satin or glossy varnish will facilitate precise seepage into the seams; for unknown combinations, first test compatibility in a hidden area.
3. Using a medium-sized round brush, apply the wash around details, into joints, and into recesses. For a precise pin wash, use a fine, pointed brush.
4. Let the product dry for about 15 minutes. Remove excess with a clean brush lightly dampened with White Spirit or a milder, odorless thinner.
5. Repeat the cleaning process until only the desired shadow remains around the details. Allow the layer to dry thoroughly before applying any further enamel effects.

Practical tip: When painting interiors, apply it specifically around controls, joints, floor details, and areas where dirt would realistically accumulate.

Use AK Interactive White Spirit 35 ml to touch up and remove excess paint. For smoother and less aggressive blending, AK Interactive Odorless Thinner 35 ml is recommended.
