In the real world, grass rarely grows uniformly and neatly. For modelers seeking maximum authenticity, AK Vegetation - Wild Tufts (AK8123) is an indispensable tool. These tufts simulate the wild undergrowth found in abandoned fields, around dirt roads or in urban ruins. Their colour mix and texture are designed to give the impression of "shaggy" and unkempt vegetation, which will add dynamism to your work.

This type of vegetation is historically universal. It is great for camouflaging the undercarriages of equipment in reserve, adding camouflage to artillery, or creating aovergrown trench lines from World War I to contemporary conflicts. Thanks to the height of 6 mm, the clusters stand out perfectly and create a natural spatial effect.

Practical applications and tips

The Diorama Series is synonymous with user comfort while maintaining professional quality.

• Easy application: the individual clusters are ready for immediate use. Simply remove them from the backing sheet with tweezers and press them into place.

• The clusters have their own adhesive layer, but for long-term durability on textured surfaces (e.g. For long-lasting durability on applied modeling putty or sand), we recommend adding a drop of white glue (PVA) or using the specialized AK118 Gravel & Sand Fixer.

• Creative combinations: wild clumps look best if you do not combine them geometrically, but put them in clusters. They work well with lower clusters (e.g. 4 mm) or with fine sprinkles to create the perfect illusion of real terrain.

Please note: The kit/package does not contain paint or glue (except for the basic self-adhesive layer on the underside).
