Italeri 3653 - ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA SPIDER 1300 (1:24)
Italeri 3653 presents the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider 1300, one of the characteristic Italian convertibles of the late 1950s, as a 1:24 plastic kit.
The original car
The Giulietta Spider was produced from 1955 to 1962 and was developed from the Sprint chassis. It used a longitudinally mounted 1290 cc four-cylinder engine. In the first production series, output was 65 hp and top speed reached 155 km/h. Rear-wheel drive, drum brakes at both ends and independent suspension completed the mechanical layout. Alongside the standard version, Alfa Romeo also offered the sportier Veloce with a more powerful twin-carburettor engine.
The kit
This release depicts the Giulietta Spider 1300. The box includes a detailed engine, chrome-plated parts and a roof for the closed version. A colour instruction sheet with recommended Italeri paint references is also provided.
