ASK half-round lead wire with a 1.2 mm profile, 140 mm lengths, approximately 14 pieces per pack. A material for more prominent pipes, cables and strips on models.
This ASK lead wire has a 1.2 mm half-round profile and comes as around 14 pieces, each 140 mm long. The wider section is useful where thinner wires are not enough – for chunkier pipes, cable bundles, edge strips or stiffeners that need to stand out from the surface.
Because lead is soft, the wire can be formed into curves or tight bends and keeps its shape. It suits aircraft, helicopters, vehicles and ships, especially engine bays and interiors where the modeller adds detail beyond what the kit provides.
