Necrons: Catacomb Command Barge

The Catacomb Command Barge is a majestic combat vehicle of the ancient Necron race, used by their supreme commanders – the Overlords – to lead their forces into battle. This flying vessel hovers above the battlefield with cool elegance and an unstoppable menace, whilst its pilot commands the Nekron regiments with icy precision. The Nekrons are an ancient civilisation of metallic warriors who, after millions of years, are awakening from their slumber to reclaim the galaxy as their rightful inheritance. Their technology surpasses almost everything the other factions in the war might encounter.

This multi-part plastic kit allows you to build two variants of the vehicle. The Catacomb Command Barge serves as the Overlord’s mighty personal transport, from which he commands his forces from the heights of the battlefield and personally mows down enemies with his deadly blade. Alternatively, the model can be built as the Annihilation Barge – a heavily armed fire platform equipped with a devastating weapon capable of wiping out entire ranks of enemy infantry. The choice between the two variants gives players tactical flexibility when building a Necron army.

The model is designed in 1:56 scale, which is the standard for the Warhammer 40,000 game, and offers a wealth of opportunities for detailed painting – from the characteristic metallic finish of the Necron construction, through the glowing energy elements, to the intricate hieroglyphic decorations, which can be added using the included transfer sheets. The box contains 84 components, two Citadel Flying Stems, one Citadel 60mm Flying Base, one Citadel 32mm Round Base and two Necron decal sheets. The box does not contain the paints or glue required for assembly.
