Thanks to the special 234/2 vehicle, also known as the Puma, the Wehrmacht had a very powerful armored reconnaissance vehicle starting in 1943. This eight-wheeled vehicle was equipped with a seat for a second driver in the rear, which made it possible to change direction very quickly. The Puma was also armed with a 5-cm cannon from the Panzer III.
