Tamiya 87163 Sanding Sponge Sheet 320
Tamiya 87163 Sanding Sponge Sheet 320 is a flexible P320 sheet with aluminium oxide abrasive on 5 mm foam. It measures 114 × 140 mm, can be cut into smaller pieces and is suitable for wet sanding.
Unlike conventional sandpaper, Tamiya 87163 carries its abrasive on thick, flexible foam that follows the shape of the part and spreads the pressure. That makes it particularly suited to rounded fuselages, wings and car bodies. Besides plastic, Tamiya also recommends it for wood and metal.
P320 sits between coarse and medium sanding – it still removes material quickly, yet its marks are easily smoothed out with finer sheets. The reverse shows the product name and grit, with each grit printed in a different colour for easy identification. One sheet per pack.
