Tamiya 87185 Fine Lapping Film #4000 is a pack of three fine abrasive films measuring 93 × 228 mm. The polyester film with evenly applied fine abrasive gives a smooth surface with minimal unsightly scratches.
Tamiya 87185 has very fine abrasive particles evenly coated on a polyester backing, so it leaves a smooth surface rather than coarse scratches. Tamiya recommends it for plastic and metal; the film can be cut with a modelling knife and used wet.
Grit #4000 is a fine step that prepares the surface for polishing. The film is light green. Three 93 × 228 mm films are included.
