Tyranids: Winged Hive Tyrant

Tyranids: the Winged Hive Tyrant represents one of the most imposing command creatures of the Tyranid swarm - a biologically evolved leader created to coordinate swarm attacks. This kit offers the possibility to build up to three variants: the Swarmlord, a legendary and unique Tyranid commander with extraordinary tactical abilities, the standard Hive Tyrant, or a winged version of the Winged Hive Tyrant capable of moving quickly across the battlefield.

The model depicts the hallmarks of Tyranid biology - a massive chitinous skeleton studded with chimney-like growths, an aggressive head with razor-sharp blades, and the four serrated bone sabers that are the typical melee weapon of the Swarmlord. With its size and detail, this figure is the ideal centerpiece of any Tyranid army and a visually dominant element on the game table.

The kit includes 59 plastic components allowing for detailed assembly including a choice between different head, weapon and accessory options. The model is designed in the 1:56 scale that is standard for Warhammer 40,000 and comes with a Citadel 60mm Round Base. The figure offers a wealth of options for advanced painting techniques, from organic textures on the chitin armor to biological details to fancy coloring on weapons and growths.
