For best results, use on a smooth, glossy surface. Position the decal where desired, blot away excess water, and apply a thin layer of Decal Softener to its surface. The decal may curl while the solution is taking effect; do not touch it and let it dry undisturbed. The official Vallejo procedure recommends approximately two hours of drying time.
Recommended Procedure
- Apply a gloss varnish before applying the decals to reduce silvering of the film;
- for better adhesion, you can use Vallejo Decal Fix under the decal,
- Once completely dry, finish the surface with a matte, satin, or gloss varnish, depending on the model.
