Vallejo Pigments 73120 Old Rust (35ml)

Vallejo Pigment FX 73120 Old Rust (35 ml) is a fine powder pigment from Vallejo Pigment FX in the shade of old rust. It is suitable for rust, oxidation, weathered welds, damaged edges, exhausts, tracks, and areas where corrosion and dirt naturally accumulate on vehicles.

Apply the dry pigment with a brush to corners, around bolts, on tracks, exhausts, or damaged paint. For more pronounced rust deposits, mix it with Pigment Binder or a small amount of water to form a paste, and then adjust with a clean brush after drying.

Work with pigments gradually and in small amounts. Dry application is well-suited for fine dusting and unifying the surface, while wet application is for stronger deposits, mud, rust, or stains. Before final fixation, it is advisable to test the result in an inconspicuous area, as varnish and fixer can optically darken the pigment.
