    The etched parts replace the deck surface and add small details. Perforated sections and deck divisions allow you to represent features simplified on the original plastic parts.

    The etched deck fits over the modified plastic deck. The instructions show removal of the original surface detail and preparation beneath the openings; plan the installation before joining the hull.
