1/35 M422 Command car
Plus Model 1/35 M422 Command car is a resin kit of the command version of the American M422 Mighty Mite light vehicle. It contains 101 resin parts, photo-etch, window film and decals. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The M422 Mighty Mite was built by American Motors for the US Marine Corps as a light vehicle that could be airlifted by helicopter and manhandled in the field. It was the first American jeep with an aluminium body and was powered by an air-cooled V4 engine. Series production ran from 1959 to 1962.
According to the manufacturer, the complete kit contains 101 resin parts, a photo-etched sheet, window film, decals and detailed assembly instructions. It is intended for adult, experienced modellers and collectors; the related kit is the M422 Mighty Mite (294).
The small vehicle in 1/35 scale suits scenes with Marines, airfields or as a companion to helicopters. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
