The StuG IV was created in 1943 by mating the superstructure of the StuG III assault gun with the chassis of the Panzer IV tank. The photo-etch refines details of the hull and equipment, a dedicated set covers the Schürzen side skirts and another lets you depict the anti-magnetic Zimmerit coating typical of German vehicles in 1943–1944.
The base plastic kit is not included.
