Bf 109G-5 1/72
Eduard 70158 Bf 109G-5 1/72 is a plastic kit of the German fighter. ProfiPACK edition with six marking options, photo-etch, masks and a resin part. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-5 differed from the more numerous G-6 in its pressurised cockpit, which made high-altitude operations easier for pilots. According to the kit manufacturer, some 475 examples of this version were built.
This 1/72 ProfiPACK kit contains Eduard plastic parts, pre-painted photo-etch, masks, a resin part and Eduard decals for six aircraft: Bf 109G-5/R3 of 1./JG 50 (Wiesbaden-Erbenheim, 1943), Lt. Walter Bohatsch's machine of 5./JG 3 (Amsterdam-Schiphol, November 1943), Flg. Victor Widmaier's aircraft of 7./JG 11 (Oldenburg, October 1943), Lt. Ingomar Feldmann's Bf 109G-5 of 8./JG 54 (Ludwigslust, February 1944), an aircraft of 2./JG 25 (Gardelegen, August 1943) and one of 3./JG 300 (Bad Wörishofen, 1944).
Six marking schemes from different fighter units allow several distinct models to be built. The 1/72 scale suits a collection of Bf 109 variants as well as a smaller diorama.
Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
