The Type 92 Japanese Heavy Machine Gun is a 1/35-scale 3D-printed resin accessory set from CMK.
The Japanese Army’s standard World War II Type 92 machine gun served as the model for another of our 1/35 3D-printed kits. The Type 92 machine gun was derived from the Hotchkiss machine gun. Because of the distinctive sound of its fire at a slow rate of fire, American soldiers nicknamed it the “Woodpecker.” The machine gun entered service in 1932, so it was already deployed during the war in China and in conflicts with the Soviet Union. After the end of World War II, it was used in the Korean War by the communist forces and by national liberation groups, including the Viet Cong. The P35028 Type 92 Japanese Heavy Machine Gun set includes the machine gun itself, along with spare magazines, ammunition boxes, and, most notably, its characteristic tripod. The tripod can be assembled in either a firing or transport configuration.
This is an add-on set; plastic kit parts, paints, and glue are not included unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
