1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F2 (G) North Africa 1942 - DRAGON + CARTOGRAF
H2K 1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F2 (G) North Africa 1942 is a German medium tank deployed during WWII in North Africa. The F2 version, later designated Ausf.G, was armed with the KwK 40 L/43 long gun, which greatly increased its effectiveness against armoured targets. The kit includes Dragon parts and Cartograf decals for an authentic finish. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F2, renamed Ausf.G in the summer of 1942, represented a significant modernisation of the German medium tank. Thanks to the new 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/43 gun, it gained the ability to effectively counter Allied tanks at longer ranges. This version first appeared in North Africa in the spring of 1942 as part of General Erwin Rommel's Afrikakorps. Ausf.F2/G tanks played a significant role in offensives against British troops and were deployed, for example, during the Battle of Gazala and the advance to El Alamein.
The 1/72nd scale H2K kit combines high quality plastic parts from Dragon with detailed Cartograf decals that offer crisp and accurate printing of historical markings. The model realistically captures the appearance of the 1942 African battlefield tank, including the distinctive details of the chassis, turret and armament. It is suitable for modellers interested in WWII armoured vehicles in 1/72 scale and the North African campaign.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
