Hobby Boss 1/72 Rail Transporter for Karl is a plastic kit of a rail transporter for assembly. This set represents the rail transport equipment for the heavy Karl-Gerät self-propelled mortar. Two five-axle carriages carry supports and beams for suspending the mortar between them. The Karl-Gerät itself is not included; it can be added using the separately available Hobby Boss 82904 or 82905 kit.
The box contains 245 plastic parts on nine sprues: 219 for the transporter and 26 for the track section. It includes axles, carriage frames, platforms and supports, along with track bed and Deutsche Reichsbahn decals. This is a static plastic kit in 1/72 scale. The transport assembly is approximately 313.6 mm long. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
