    The U-505 is a famous German Type IXC submarine from World War II, famous for its capture by the US Marines in June 1944 during an operation in the Atlantic. This RCsubs 1/72nd scale resin add-on set is designed for IXC plastic kit models (e.g. Revell, Revell/U-Boat) and offers:

    • 3D printed turret with fine details such as radar antenna winches and hatches

    • Photo-etched railings, grilles, hatches and other small metal details for the tower and deck

    • Resin parts to complement on-board arsenal and equipment (e.g. periscopes, vents)

    • Scientific instructions for fitting details to the model; compatibility with common IXC plastic kits

    This add-on allows modelers to create a significantly more detailed and authentic model of the U-505 submarine. The kit is designed for experienced builders who have resin and etch experience and want to take the model to a higher level of historical accuracy and visual fidelity.

    The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
