Academy 13416 - GROUND VEHICLE SERIES-1 (1:72)
Academy 13416 Ground Vehicle Series-1 is a 1/72 plastic kit of Second World War light vehicles: an American jeep, a Kübelwagen and a Kettenkrad with accessories.
The Willys jeep became a symbol of the Allied armies, the Volkswagen Kübelwagen filled a similar role in the Wehrmacht, and the Kettenkrad half-track motorcycle towed light loads, not least on Luftwaffe airfields.
The Academy 13416 set in 1/72 scale contains all three vehicles: a jeep with a pintle-mounted machine gun, a Kübelwagen and a Kettenkrad. Each has a detailed engine bay and engine, and the engine covers are also supplied as clear parts. Plenty of accessories complete the set – drums, jerrycans and ammunition boxes.
The manufacturer recommends the set especially for dioramas with 1/72 aircraft, where light vehicles and supplies bring an airfield or forward base to life.
Nationality: USA, Germany. Period: World War II.
Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
