AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Rlm 81 Version 1 (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11835 RLM 81 Version 1 is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN Aircraft Series for the upper surfaces of 1944–1945 Luftwaffe aircraft. It is the first of three RLM 81 versions offered by the manufacturer.
The paint comes from the Aircraft Series, the aviation branch of AK Interactive's 3GEN acrylics. The manufacturer highlights high pigmentation, coverage and resistance, plus a coloured cap that makes the shade quick to recognise.
AK Interactive has included the paint in the AK11718 WWII Luftwaffe Late War Colors set, which holds six camouflage colours of German aircraft built from around late summer 1944 until the end of the war. The manufacturer reproduced the three versions of RLM 81 from officially approved formulas used depending on the components available to a particular paint maker; two are khaki tones and one is a dark green, in the past erroneously identified as RLM 83.
