AK Interactive AK8012 Resin Ice (set) is used for casting clear ice sheets and blocks. Once cured, a thin layer of resin can be broken into individual ice floes, their edges can be smoothed, and surface texture can be added.
Recommended Procedure
- Prepare the mold on a flat surface and secure it to prevent resin leakage. Measure out the individual components using the included syringes according to the instructions in the package.
- For ice floes, create relatively thin sheets. Once fully cured, break them apart or cut them and smooth the broken edges.
- Use the included acrylic “Ice Surfaces” to create texture, frost, and irregularities on the surface. Add additional snow and water effects only after the resin has cured.
